At our October 14th meeting, the membership of the 42nd Legislative District Democrats<\/a>\u00a0 passed a Resolution Supporting I-940 “De-Escalate Washington<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Initiative 940 – “De-Escalate Washington”
\n‘This measure would require law enforcement to receive violence de-escalation, mental-health, and first-aid training, and provide first-aid; and change standards for use of deadly force, adding a \u201cgood faith\u201d standard and independent investigation.’<\/p>\n
